How do you choose the quickest route without using A>B, The scenario I have is, next week im going to France, Upon driving from the ferry I will have my sat-nav working with my French map, all ok so far, now if I just add the address into the tomtom software as per normal it will take me there but probably by the shortest route, I prefer to use the quickest route and options via the A>B function, however if I don't know where I am how do I set the A> details, I know where I am heading for, but don't know the exact address details of where I will be at the time.
does anyone follow this?, I basically want to change my shortest/quickest options without knowing my current position, can this be found somehow?

your efforts are futile... There is a bug in the TomTom rerouting (that's basically what you do when you say "Navigate To") - it is always taking the quickest route, no matter what you specified in A->B
Wait, quickest is what you want, isn't it? So - problem solved 8) _________________ Lutz
