Can anyone help me please. I have a TomTom Go720 and it will no longer start up. It gets as far as the picture but then will not go any further. When connected to the PC it connects ok but as soon as I click operate my Go then the programme crashes. Thanks |

Have you actually done a RESET?

In that case there is probably a corrupted operating system file somewhere.
Two questions:
Did you do anything (update, add, or move anything in the flash memory, or add an SD card) before this happened?
Did you make any backups before this happened? |

I did try to install the POI Capture and I think this caused the problem. Unfortunately I did not make a back up. If this is a corrupted file is there anything I can do? |

If there is a corrupt system file, I would follow the instructions in This Post.
What you are doing is removing all the system files (those not in the Folders) and then re-installing the software. At this stage ignore the part about Formatting the Card. Just follow the paragraph that starts "Please connect ....".
But PLEASE do a Full Backup using Explorer first. _________________ Richard
