I'm having difficulty in removing the Navman installed safety cameras from my N20. In SmartST Desktop - Manage POIs they don't appear - only the PGPSW installed ones.
Anyone got a simple way of doing it, please _________________ Gee-Pee

I had to remove some of the PGPSW camera files to get below a certain number of custom POI files on the F20, once you can see them simply de-select them then add the PGPSW cameras back on to the device - I had to remove two files, but I didn't have pMobiles installed - not too sure the N20 will beave in the same way but it is worth checking - Mike |

I'll give that a try, Mike but suspect it may not work I've had a look at the files on the unit via MS Active Synch -- Explore, but cannot ID the appropriate files. The reason I need to do this is not to make space - I have plenty, but I'm off to Switzerland at Christmas and I must make sure that there are no Swiss cameras on the device as they are illegal in that country - on pain of having your GPS confiscated and destroyed.

Navman does not provide safety camera subscriptions for countries where it is illegal to have such information (e.g. Switzerland and Germany).
Are you worried that you could have your device confiscated if you have safety camera information for other countries on it? |

Thanks for the info. _________________ Gee-Pee
