|
|
Hi all, hope someone can help.
I downloaded the new speed camera update (Nov 07) onto my Zumo 550, everything works fine except for when I pass a specific camera on my way to work the Zumo stops mapping, the speed and voice directions are not effected just the map and camera warnings.
Has anyone got any idea why this happens or more importantly how to stop it?
The camera by the way is on the M25 at the M2 Junction |

hi oscar
have you tried removing the speed cam pois and tryng it without them to see if it is some issue with the mapping? it may be a coincidence about it being at a camera warning?
have you also tried any firmware updates etc as it may be an issue with the wav files used for the warning?
failing that you could give garmin a ring on freephone: 0808 238 0000

Thanks MaFt,
I've deselected the custom poi in the extra settings and everything was ok but no camera warnings (obviously) I tried removing and reinstalling the updates but that didn't work.
The Zumo's software is up to date
I think I'll give Garmin a ring |

Hi all,
I've Just spoken to Mark in Garmin Europe customer services, he told me someone else has had a similar problem but he wasn't sure if it was the same camara.
This has been reported to Garmin USA who will (hopefully) provide a fix via an update.
Hope this helps anyone else

Oscar, which database (speedzoned, etc.) did you put onto your zumo? I will try to recreate the fault. _________________ Tim |

Hi everyone and thanks for all your help.
I've finaly fixed it. When I last updated the poi's the Zumo decided to default back to the Garmin POI's and not the Custom POI's.
The fault was with the Garmin poi's all along which I haven't used before.
Thanks again
