Not quite sure if this is in the right area, if not please move accordingly.
I've just bought a Vista CX with Europeon Destinator maps loaded to do some geocahing. All is working great with the exception that when I try to find a way point it brings up the option of following the on road or off road.
When I choose on road - I get a message saying no roads available near the start point. Despite the fact it's clearly showing them on the display. Is there a setting I have to turn on somewhere, I've looked and can't to seem to find anything.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks in advance

You didn't mention what maps you have and downloaded to the GPS.
What roads are being displayed? If it's just the major roads and motorways then you only using the base map which will not have the detail required and will need something like the City Navigator maps. |

The City Navigator V9 are loaded and show the roads in great detail - the GPS just won't follow them!

That will be the reason then. MapSource does not include the MetroGuide route data when the maps are transferred to the unit. Google for Metrogold and/or Metrowhizz that allow you to do auto-routing with MetroGuide. |
