Restart your desktop computer, then put the iPAQ into the cradle and re-start the ROM upgrade. It should continue where it left off. _________________ Lutz

Lutz many thanks, unfortunately does not work. It seem PC cannot communicate with Ipaq thro USB cradle. cradle / cable etc OK when used yesterday. If upgrade pack is rerun it hangs with message "verifying info on Ipaq" hangs at this point. |

You'll have to send it in for repair then... There are reflashing tools available on the web but those are pretty complicated and could create even bigger damage. Send it in. _________________ Lutz

I had exactly the same problem, i tried the upgrade on another pc and that went wel, there where no problems !
My pc with problems has xp and the other win2000 but i don't think that this made the difference.
Hopefully this will help. |
