ello all
bought one of these cards
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/123309/show_product_reviews
and i can't get windows to format it in my tomtom. it just says format unavailable. the same thing happens on my card reader - i guess cos its too big?? my ps3 can read and format it but its still not visible on any of my other boxes.
help! |

Apparently the devices are fussy about the cards they will accept.

The maximum officially supported size is 2Gb, also SD-HC again isn't officially supported, so why not just but a (x133) 2 Gb one from either Play.com or MyMemory for around a 10er!
That's what I've got in mine (Play.com) and it works a treat! |

I have an 8GB SDHC fitted in my 720 which works fine, what device are you trying to use the card with and what software version is on it (tap the sat strength meter and the version is displayed on the right side of the screen) - Mike |

I have a Sandisk 4Gb in my 520
It is one of the few things that does work properly

SDHC cards ONLY work on the x20 models AFAIK. |

running the latest software
i wanted 4gb cos i'm putting w&c europe on it, which won't fit on a 2 gig
4 gig non hcsd are available, i thought this was one of them, i was wrong :P so it's going back. i bought one off ebay instead. |
