|
|
Hi all,
Apologies if that has already been covered, searching for 'case' returned a few hundred unrelated topics!
I ordered a case for my Dad's Go 720 for his birthday, decided to go for the TomTom Deluxe Leather one, which is far from deluxe, the stitching is poor, the plastic trim is cheap and nasty and the case is very fiddly to open - and I've not even tried putting the TomTom in.
Needless to say it's on the way back to Amazon for a refund - was wondering what experience you'd had with the other cases? Is the regular TomTom case any good? It appears to just be a zip edged case which would be fine - don't need to store SD cards or anything.
Or is there any good aftermarket cases out there? Or would I be better going for a suitably sized Crumpler PP type thing? |

I bought this on eBay for £6.98 including delivery. Unfortunately they only had it in silver when I bought mine, but I'm very happy with it and it's excellent quality.
It only holds the device and not the mount though. _________________ Anita

After hearing consistently bad reviews of the deluxe case I went for the standard one.
Overall I think its reasonable enough. Its not particularly padded but the TT fits so snugly that that's not really a problem. Being such a tight fit the zip can be a bit fiddly at times, but in general I'm pretty happy with it. |

I've got one of those too - it's excellent value.

It's not exactly difficult to find TomTom's telephone number. Go to the TT website Home page, click on Support, and then click on the link under 'How to contact Support' in the right-hand column.
A mere 'girly' managed to find it, but if you can't it's: 0845 161 0009. _________________ Anita
