|
|
As we are now back on good old GMT (UK users)you will all need to change the timezone setting in your profile to GMT.
The setting can be found at the bottom of the preferences section. if you are not in the UK then you should ensure) you are using the correct time offset (+ or -) as necessary.
Unfortunately this has to done manually by every user when the clocks change but it is a simple process.

I did mine like a good little brown nose on Sunday. But may I make a plea for the site clock to get more accurate please - it seems to be 10 to 15 minutes slow. _________________ Dennis

Folks have been pleading for years.
Technically, it's as simple as connecting the server to an NTP pool like http://www.pool.ntp.org/zone/uk but I think there was some reason for not doing it. _________________ Gone fishing! |

I couldn't see the point in changing the setting in my profile, because all the times seem to be listed as GMT anyway regardless of the time zone set in peoples' profiles _________________ Andy

Damn, I missed that.
After the spring thread I was determined to be first to post a memo about this, obviously Darren is more on the ball as usual...
...and DennisN is just a suckup!

You notice how Mostdom has to have another little pick? One of these days I'll trump his stein with my brick, I really will. _________________ Dennis
