Hi
I have read on an earlier thread about changing pref.file for startup screen Mobile Navigator "that tells you not to operate the device whilst driving" How do you do that I have opened Programme file from File Explorer on pocket p.c go to prefs file and get a reading saying there is no application associated with prefs. Just want to get rid of it so it no longer appears any help much appreciated.

found the answer! In prefs.ini:
showsecuhint = 1
Change to:
showsecuhint = 0 |

If this line isn't there, just add it. |

I've got a Loox n100 with Mobile Navigator 6 on [v6.1 build 118 070119-1445] and I've used the crack thingy to give me access to Win CE. However, when I use ActiveSync to explore the n100 I can't find any prefs.ini file to disable the nag screen.
There's no specific MN6 folder or similar that I can see. MN6 seems to run directly under the Windows folder [MN6.exe is in here], and under \Windows there's a number of folders obviously to do with MN6 eg \Windows\POI, \Windows\Routes, but I can't find anything under any folder that looks like the equivalent of prefs.ini.
Can anyone help - I just want to turn off the nag screen! |
