Just ordered one from: http://accessories.euro.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=uk&l=en&s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1&sku=A1225300
shows a price of 132.72 pounds on link page but when you place order the actual price is only 124.49 delivered to your door. Has full European mapping (Navteq), is waterproof, straight bolt up of a ram-mount to the holder, will run 8 hours on a battery charge, has a 3.5 mm sound out port, MP3 player and .jpg viewer (although you can't use either at the same time as navigating, may be they will sort that with an update) Googled some reviews and seems ok, in fact I think for a bike it's excellent value at that price and am looking forward to trying it out late August on planned trip UK to Italy.

Hi Nigel,

How did the magellan perform as I'm thinking on getting one?

If anyone else has this unit could they please post their findings. Many thanks.

Haven't received it as yet, the latest delivery date they gave me is 29th September. Believe Amazon UK have in stock but they are 30 or 40 pounds more expensive than the Dell UK site that i ordered mine from.

Thanks Nigel, I decided to go for a Navman N40i for £140 since I don't need the IP rated unit (sadly, biking days are behind me now). I hope your unit arrrives soon and suits your needs.
