We WERE actually! That's all the red paper debris in the first pic.
There were a few other bits and pieces involved as well though... |

The red background surrounding the BMW is not all the correct RGB code this makes the image display with "noise" surrounding it, try a bucket fill using Paint with a Blue colour and you will soon see what is wrong, I have sent the ammended file to Darren and dmrolyat this one is correct - Mike |

It's actually very difficult to get every background pixel at the proper "full" red 255,0,0 RGB values.
If your pen nib, mask or other tool has ANY transparency or feathering at the edges, it will sneak in a few pixels that look just the same but are really 255,5,5 or something like that.
Not only do you not get the proper transparency on those pixels, but also you might get a pink colour cast over the edge of the car, which can be hard to get rid of. I find the program I use (Corel Photopaint) tends to feather edges of its tools slightly even when you have selected a hard edge.
Mike's trick of checking the red by doing a colour flood fill or colour replace (with minimum tolerance) is a good one... |

I'm using Photoshop Elements 4, which I don't know how to use except I use a Pencil, zoom right in and click complete pixels of colour. _________________ Dennis
