Hi all. I'm new, and I know this has been asked at least once before ...

http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=58341&highlight=n95+external+gps

... but I've tried that and cannot get my N95 to use the external GPS receiver. It's a Navicore Slim SIRF III Bluetooth receiver, the bluetooth indicator light on this shows that it is paired correctly with the phone, and the GPS light on the receiver is showing a good fix, but the phone is still not getting a position. I've tried various different combinations of the external and internal GPS settings - enabled/disabled (I realise that it should probably be the external enabled and the internal disabled, but as it didn't work like that I thought I try them both enabled too)

I only went with an external device because I was fed up with the internal one telling me I was in a field and it would have to recalculate my route, but I appear to have fallen at the first hurdle here...

Has anyone got any suggestions please?

Cheers, Moose.

Sorry for the delay in replying GeeDee, I lost the post!

Anyway, I've got it fixed and am using the internal Nokia Maps program fine with the external GPS now, but thanks for the offer of help.

Moose.
