|
|
I previously posted this query in the beginners lounge but unfortunately received no replies:
I have TT Go 300 running latest software. The mobile phone icon is greyed out on the 1st menu screen and I cannot use it.
This is the mnu file entry:
MENUITEM|TASK_MENU_PHONE|
I noticed this has happened only since I installed POI capture.
Can any one help me restore the icon or tell me why it is now greyed out?
Thanks |

You could try renaming the TomTom.mnu File, or move it, to see if it works OK with the built-in Default Menu.
If it does then something is wrong with the entry that you have in the MNU File. _________________ Richard

Hi,
Thanks for that - it didn't work tho'. The only way to get the icon back, I have discovered, is to delete the sdk and poi capture files and reset the unit with a pin. Sadly, I lose all my faves etc doing it this way.
The .mnu entry is correct otherwise it wouldn't display on the screen (would it??!) |

Have you tried Enabling Bluetooth, in Preferences?
You shouldn't lose your Favourites by doing a Reset. It doesn't delete any Files, only causes the Device to re-boot from the SD Card.
As an aside, why not store your Favourites as a POI? It is transferable then. _________________ Richard

Thanks for your time Richard,
I already had bluetooth enabled in the menu.
Could you tell me how to save the favourites as a POI?
I appreciate your help.
Many thanks. |
