Even though the 720 is now listed on their site under the support section when you browse looking for which is the latest firmware for each model there is till nothing relating to the 720. This still leaves us in the dark as to what was contained within the 7.0.1 firmware which was made available via the home app recently.
Come on tomtom, get you act together!! |

You still can't select the new models on the mapshop page either.
And I told them at the beginning of July that the "show detailed map coverage" link in red on that page had stopped working. They replied that they were aware and "technicians were working on it". Guess what? Still doesn't work.
Also x20 range is still not included in the "compare models" chart. either. That should really impress a potential purchaser |

... and it looks like what they have done is simply rebadge the earlier support pages to make it look like they are specific to the x20 series.
e.g from the 720 specific pages:
TomTom HOME is compatible with the following devices:
TomTom GO, TomTom GO 700/500/300, TomTom GO 910/710/510
TomTom ONE 1st Edition, TomTom ONE 2nd Edition
TomTom RIDER 1st Edition, TomTom RIDER 2nd Edition
or maybe this particular example is there because they now know that the 720 is anything but compatible with Home ! _________________ TED
