Just real batteries - the torch works brilliantly, focuses down to a tight spot - I've only ever used it as described, reading street names and house numbers in the dark. _________________ Dennis

ahh...but a roll of walpaper could be used as a torch in an emergency & you can't use a torch as a backing for a school text book nor to stick on a wall as a form of decoration _________________ Jaguar XF R Sport AWD

Look at that - they move up north and right away start getting all smarty pants!
And why would anybody want to know when they're driving past an automated door? _________________ Dennis

Noooooo, born in Oldham. Just went down south to see what all the fuss was about!!!
Many of the "radar detectors" (the Cobra included) out there detect X band (amongst others).
Unfortunately, X band isn't used in the UK BUT is produced by automatic doors, hence... _________________ Jaguar XF R Sport AWD

Perhaps so, but it won't fit in the baton pocket on Police trousers !! Folk will think I'm carrying a bazooka, or something worse down there...... _________________ Tommo...

Isn't it good to have Tommo back on nights? He hardly posts at all when he's on days - I suppose on days he's out there chasing all the baddies, but at night they're all in bed. _________________ Dennis

I dunno! With all the evidence against us on this forum, one word out of place and we could all be banged up and he would hardly have to lift a finger.
