Does anyone know if there is a service pack available?
Following all the links on navman-mobile.com doesn't seem to get anywhere. Navman inform me that there are no service packs available.
There seems to be some confusion about SP1 availabilty etc. does anyone have the answers the Navman seem unable to give?
Lets see if we can help other users out here too as the icn630 really needs its V2 software improving. My unit seems to give incorrect voice directions even though the map shows the correct route, also it says things like "Take the 6th exit" on a 3 exit island.
Arount the M6 the unit often does strange things, the only action is to cancel the route and start it again, then its fine. |

Had a similar experience recently, on a roundabout on the new Avon Ring Road to the NE of Bristol. At one particular place the iCN tells you to take the 4th Exit, but physically you take the 3rd Exit. On a closer look you can see that there are the makings of another exit which has never been completed and probably never will be. Presumably then the iCN is taking this into consideration.
As you say though, if you look at the screen it shows the correct route. Just how easy this type of problem would be to resolve I wouldn't even try to hazard a guess.
Regards

Thanks Steveee. one service pack successfully installed . Actually I tried this location before assuming "downloads" was the link rather than “Run the Navman Update Program”, silly me. |
