After finding the 'Off-Topic' area by accident one day, I couldn't help noticing that the madness of certain individuals who regularly post, is brought out by the relative freedom of being able to post suitable responses, which don't really matter too much if they are constructive or not.
The quick witted humour is fun to read and a welcome relief at times from some of the less interesting threads posted. Certain people have a knack of wandering off topic, but it takes a 'special' type of person to wander off topic from an off topic thread.

..and there was me thinking that Tommo was a fair and reasonable officer of the law - but now I find him slapping my name all over the place.
I always plead insanity - that way my sentence is likely to be reduced "on the grounds of diminished responsibility"
Oh well, at least I'm in the right place with Broadmoor just up the road from where I work :twitch:
In addition to this, Oldboy has handed me a life sentence:

Death sentence commuted to a life time of browsing the Forums. |

I just went back to the index to see how many views. It was TWO, which would have included me. The vote at 100% for 2:30 is made up of two votes and I haven't voted. Something dodgy here. Careful, or I'll get mad at you. (I haven't voted cos' I don't understand half past two. What's more, they don't allow us to have sharp things in here). _________________ Dennis

When I put it there, it was right next to it, so I don't know what happened to it next. I know I saw it, but it was gone. When I went back, I put what wasn't there, next to the missing thing, and resorted to taking it away??

I must be, and can claim to have increased that category from o% to 25% - its a simple press of a button, guess which one - and you certainly won't need to be a rocket scientist to work out what I hit (by mistake, honest guv) - Mike |

DennisN - Mad Mod | You might at least have listed us in alphabetical order - that would have put mostdom where he belongs.
Anyway, I'm not good with multiple choice - get confused. When Vera asks for an opinion, I normally ask her to "give us a clue, luv". _________________ Dennis

What's up with this poll thing all of a sudden. I'm starting to feel a little left out, as I haven't had my go yet.
I've been peeling back the layers of my brain trying to think of something topical or clever to poll about. MaFt has even had a go.
I think I would have eventually got to the mad to post here gag but Tommo beaten me to it.
I'll just sob quietly in the corner. _________________ Dom

Ah, there you go then, we are being secretly prepared to be sent to Scotland, so when we arrive, the average IQ north of the border will double. |

This is obviously a trick question....when you ask some people a question (usually of a certain age without their deaf aid turned on), they always seem to tell you the time

I can see your problem straight away - your getting confused between digital time (2:30) and analogue time (half past two).
Perhaps Tommo should have included another option - "Are you beyond the point of knowing which one to vote for?" _________________ Andy
