I have a GO 910 and GO700. I was using the same TOMTOM HOME to operate both devices. Now when I try to connect the 700 to the PC using its USB cable the PC does not recognise the 700 . I have checked on the PC drives and the 500 is not listed. Your help would be appreciated. |

First thing to try is shut down Home and try to get the PC to recognise the TT as a drive.
If you can't get that bit working, Home hasn't got a chance.
Usual suggestions are try a different USB socket (not one on a hub, not one on the front - that sort of thing). Try plugging in with all possible combinations of PC power on and off, and TT on and off.
You should also check Control Panel / System /Hardware / Device Manager for any USB problems/conflicts. |
