Thanks,

MSN Messenger is in ROM so it should be impossible to delete it! You may have deleted one of the files from the MSN Messenger update which is held in RAM. Re-install the Messnger update for PocketPC available at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/resources/msnmessenger/pocketpc.mspx and this should resolve the issue _________________ Darren Griffin |

I've tried doing that but it still doesn't work. I don't have the msn icon anymore on my h4150 and can't find the software anywhere. Does anyone have any other solution?
Thanks,

If it's a big issue then a Hard Reset will restore it but you'll have to re-install all your apps as this will wipe the machine. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I've moved this thread to Pocket PC 2003 Support - it doesn't have anything to do with GPS so I didn't feel it belonged in the Advanced GPS Lounge.
The chances are that all you've lost is the shortcut - the program is probably still there - \Windows\instmsgr.exe
If you can create a new shortcut, you can solve the problem. This can be done with the built in File Manager, but isn't the easiest thing to do.
