uffe73,

Having only used to unit locally, there are improvements on it, but the new fly over just north of M4 J15 is not shown. I have added some map change, where the road is a short cut, but only for buses. I have also added the fly over above but this only gets reported, and does not change the map on the unit.
The map details on the unit are in my signature.

Paul

Crikey I though you we're quick but I see your link refers to my personal account which I use for testing. It's also on the PocketGPSWorld YouTUBE account where I added it a few mins ago.

Darren, nice video, it shows how quickly it should work straight from the box. Its ashame that mine got stuck in the settings loop, and I needed to do the settings through MyGo in the HOME application.

Just a quick question, was wondering how long the in-car power cable is for the 720?

Cheers

Hi there,

Can anyone suggest a decent case for the Tomtom 720 other than the one that Tomtom are selling?

Has anyone tried TMC (original antenna) with TT720 yet?

Yup and it's as useless as it was with the 910. Not that it came as a surprise! If it worked then TomTom would be offering it as an option here with the 720, as I have said many times they are not Smile

Thanks Darren,
I was thinking about getting the antenna from Argos, it is at £50. If it didn't work for me then i would return it or mod it. What do you reckon?

I'd save your £50.

Has anyone heard from PCWB. I have been told every day this week that they don't have a date for delivery from their suppliers.
This is different to what a few on here have been told and Dixons & PCWB i thought were the same company and therefore must use the same suppliers

Interestingly, I've set up my usual liz whittaker ogg files to use for the speed cam warnings. Having set up this up 3 or four times, the unit seems to lost the link to them after it's reset and they need setting up again. I'm wondering if this is a fault with the unit or if it's something I'm doing wrong. If anyone else experiences this with a 720 please post.
Thanks.

Not had that issue even after resetting.

Thanks for the reply Darren, I think it must have been something I was doing wrong. I haven't had that issue again and all is working fine at the moment.
