I´m currently in Antwerp, they have stacks of the 720T in the shops, at the current exchange rate they are £389. I don`t feel too bad as I`ve ordered a 720 from PCBW for £292 delivered, I just hope it`s at my house when I get home on Friday. |

Does anybody have any experience of the Remote Control? It says Bluetooth, which would mean it won't conflict with the remote control for my existing GO. I hope it works in tandem with the bluetooth handsfree phone?
Does the speech navigation feature understand Yorkshire?
It's quite a shame that every single Accessory is "Temporarily Unavailable"!
Looks like I'm going to have to have one _________________ Dennis

Hi Darren,
I am looking to upgrade my phone at the end of this month & it is betweem the SE K800i or the Nokia N73.
I read that you had the N73 & I was wondering how you found it worked with the 720?
Have you tried speak sms etc?
Also, do you know if there is going to be any support for SE phones on the 720?
Thanks in advance.
Kevo

The n73 works well, SMS read aloud is weird but works. I don't know what other phones may be supported in future. _________________ Darren Griffin |

DennisN, is it acceptable to stop a delivery van to ask if your parcel is on it? I wanted to do this on my way home from work at 4am this morning, as I passed one, and several other citylink vans passed me
I'm now keeping an ear open for the drop of a "attempted delivery card".
Cheers

Paul | I believe they don't start loading until much later than 4am. You'll probably find that your address is very far along their route time (you start waiting in at 7:30am and the van arrives at 4:45pm). You could try finding a phone number for the Citylink depot to ask them if your toy is on the van (they could phone to ask the driver, but they won't have any idea themselves unless you have the parcel number). If you catch an "Attempted delivery card" fast enough, you could ring the number and ask if you can chase after the van. I have met other vans in the past, but when I had a new toy last week, UPS wouldn't even consider me meeting the van (they are MUCH more firm with their rules).
Anyway, currently my latest new toy is due before 9am tomorrow (that's not the new toy that's due to start shipping end of August). Vera doesn't mind in the slightest, but I won't be telling my daughter - she can't understand why I have to have two TT GOs already, so another new toy will blow her mind (she's not 68 and not excited)! Been hammering the plastic a bit this month. _________________ Dennis

My "old" 910 is going to my father-in-law so I get a new toy and I'm goldenboy
What is worrying is that father-in-law dreamt about getting lost, but awoke happy knowing that he was getting the 910...now there is something to live up to.
Cheers

It's alright for you - me, I am the father-in-law (with two GOs already and another arriving tomorrow morning and Daughter arriving the day after!). I suppose I'll just have to lie. _________________ Dennis

Well when my wife found my confirmation of pre order for the 720 and felt that I had hidden it away in a file in email (what me). I told her that she would need my old 500 for her new job that she starts next week. She said she thinks that she might like the new one. I smiled and said of course you can darling. Thinking it would be a cold day in hell when that happens.
