ok people your allowed to shout at me.
this is only the second time ive downloaded camera updates from this site and first time using vista.
now the problem is im copying all the bit map and ov2 files onto my go 910 but its saying they already exist. i know im a plum but do i need to replace all the existing files with the new downloads or are the new files just new cameras added or the full camera list.
sorry for asking but any help would be great as i dont want to wipe out all the original files before asking.
also should i delete all the original TT cameras that came with the 910.
thank you

Yes you need to replace them, then it will over right the old database with the new database _________________ TomTom Go 700,

....and yes, you might as well delete the TomTom supplied ones. They won't do any harm, but they are taking up space and the occasional double warnings when they also find a camera ( ) can get confusing. |

Why would we shout at you, we were all beginners when we started and I've asked (and still ask) my share of questions which may appear obvious to those in the know!
If you don't ask you'll never learn _________________ Darren Griffin |

this is only the second time ive downloaded camera updates | OK - GRRR, GRRR. Serve you right if you get pinched!! You can download the cameras as many times as you like whilst your subscription is valid. You can bet heavily that there will be at least one update during August, probably two - that one just out this last weekend was the fourteenth update in 2007. Stop wasting your money and download more frequently like the rest of us. GRRR, GRRR. Satisfied now? _________________ Dennis

jim | Get just reasonably competent at it, and it'd take you a quarter of an hour, tops, to download and install. Don't tell me you can't spare that. Never mind, I suppose I'm just a freaky old man!! _________________ Dennis
