Hi
I've just ask a question on the beginners loudge about comparing the 720 with the one xl and garmin 250w. But now i've found a site selling 910 for £227 delivered.
Is this a good deal or am I going to buy old maps and and old operating system. Now very confused!!!!!!!
Any help would be appericated. |

It's still a good unit and will always be upgradable with new versions of the software and mapping.
It has an active mount and bundled remote control. Whether it's worth having and saving money over the latest and greatest is a decision for you. _________________ Darren Griffin |

£227 the cheapest I seen, so a good start, and after you buy it, why not try and get a free map upgrade from tomtom, its worth a go _________________ TomTom Go 700,

Just rang them up to double check my order and i was told that unfortunatly they will not be able to fulfill my order as it was a limited stock limited time offer, first off it said nothing on there website about it being a limited time or stock offer, i have a receipt saying order gone through. what a liberty, they said i will still be able to have the 910 but i would have to pay a further £35. any advive would be good please.
also they said this has happened as they dont work over the weekend and now they are open they have counted stock and it was on a first come first served basis , again it said nothing on their web site about this.

what a suprise, i just rang thenavigationcompany back and NOW they say they dont have any stock, not what they said earlyer. they said they DID have stock but would cost me £37 more, also before anything i asked to speak to a manager and a forign sounding lady asked me if it was anything to do with a 910 and stupidly i said yes, oh sorry sir all managers are out to lunch. what a crock of ****. i guess i will have to let trading standards deal with it then, NOT HAPPY. |

I'm not arguing but IIRC other cases have failed because no money was taken, let us know how this pans out? _________________ Darren Griffin |
