|
|
I have Tom Tom 6 installed on the storage card of my Orange SPV M1000. I downloaded 6 speed camera & 13 other POI's from this website & copied them to the map folder on the storage card where I can see the ov2 & bitmap files OK. when I start up Tom Tom & go to the enable PIO section none of them are in the list, how do I get to see them in the list. If I go into the delete PIO section the speed camera ones are there but not the others. The speed cameras show up on the maps but not the others. Can anyone help please |

Hi,
Is it possible that you have exceeded the maximum number of POI's?
You're allowed 100 in TT6

I have checked that & the number of POI catagories that came with the Tom Tom is 51. That plus the 19 I am trying to install should be OK I think. |

Remove all the ones you've added and just add one. If that shows then you've hit a limit somewhere.
Which Speed Camera Database did you choose, consolidated? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Much better to count the files that have an OV2 extension. _________________ Richard

The number of files with the ov2 extention are 6 speed cameras (gatso, mobile, pmobile, redlight, specs & temp) plus 13 others |

Are you literally copying the ov2 and bmp files over or are you using Tom Tom HOME?
Have you got more than one map folder?
Have you checked the file extensions to ensure that you haven't got double e.g. pocketgps_gatso.ov2.ov2?
Im trying to get hold of those straws

I literally copied the files that I unzipped straight into the map folder in the storage card. Yes I do have more than one map folder & i have just copied the files to that as well & done a soft reset. Yes it now works fine, It helps if you copy the files into the map folder you are using. Thanks for the help Mike (I feel a real d--- head) |
