Is it possible to add a key notation (or legend - whatever you choose to call it) to the speed camera map page of the PGPSW web site?
This would eliminate/reduce the need for people to query the different icons within the forum.
Also, this would show members cameras which they have submitted (or submitted updates), but which are awaiting verification and such submissions would not appear as possible duplications. I had not seen any previous mention of the new cross-hair icon for such a submission and this resulted in a query being submitted - something which I'm sure MaFt would like to be kept to an absolute minimum.
"Key Notation is a type of legend used to define icons.... The notation can be applicable to the entire page, a section of content..." source of definition: http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/blaf/specs/keyNotation.html _________________ Andy

you mean this part in red above the map:
"NEW: The submission map below now shows active sites, pending mobile sites and your own submissions that have been provisionally included (i.e. not every submission) but awaiting verification - they will not show up straight away but will be shown as coloured squares to differentiate them from active cameras."
will have a think about a key though

Yes, that part.
A picture paints a thousand words as they say and if the map shows exactly what each icon means, then there is less room for misunderstading.
I come from a background of adding keys/legends and I thought it might just make te 'picture' that little bit clearer and possible reduce your workload by reducing queries. _________________ Andy
