I have downloaded the .txt file and put it into the Storage Card/iGo/POI/Speedcam folder but when I run iGO I don't see any new POI's or any differences at all.
Not sure if I have done it correctly. |

I too am having some problems with iGo and speed cameras.
I've installed the Txt file OK and can see the camera locations on the map and in cockpit view whilst travelling. However, I don't get any audible warnings. I have enabled safety cameras in the alerts menu and have tried 'when approaching' and 'simple' settings but no sound alert.
Do I need to add a voice file(s) or anything else to get this working?
Any help appreciated.
Andy. |

I think you'll find you have to be exceeding the speed limit before a warning souns/shows. |

Yes, that would explain it.
Does that mean I have to speed past one to check it's working |

Quote: | Does that mean I have to speed past one to check it's working | No not past one, towards it, as the warning will come some distance before you get there. If you know of a mobile site near where you live, have a quick check to make sure it's all clear and then do a trial run. Don't forget many of the cameras are directional so you would have to drive on the side it covers. Don't use the simple warning, use the 'proper' one. :D Much better. |
