Just to make sure we're singing from the same hymn sheet..
Start CoPilot
Press Menu / Options / Home / Settings / POI Alerts
If you go to 'Select POI's to be reported' and select Custom and expand it do you see Custom 1 .... Custom 5 and then 'pocketgps...' etc, or do you see safetycamera instead?

The only other thing I can think of, assuming you haven't set up any other custom POI's is to copy the pgpsw database files over again to your storage card in the SAVE directory, then delete the files that begin with ao something in the same folder, there are 9 I think. I copied them to another folder on the card when I first did it just in case.
Disconnect your Orbit from the PC and restart CoPilot, then check your POI's again.
Failing that there are quite a few threads on here about similar problems, maybe one of those might throw some light
Good Luck

Thanks.
I tried what you said, made backup copies of the ao* files and deleted the originals. I then recopied over the cameradb files.
When I run co-pilot the first time, all is ok, all the cameras are listed by speed etc. However everytime I run it after the initial time, there are no files under the custom option of POI's, not even safetycamera.
Any help is appreciated. |

I'm afraid I can't guess whats happening, unless it's a card problem.
What device are you using?
I assumed you had an XDA Orbit for some reason, but I can't see you've divulged that info.

Sorry, my mistake you said Orbit at the start (only twice )
What version of Co-Pilot are you running?
Goto to MENU | OPTIONS | ABOUT to find the version number.

Thats OK then.
The only thing I can think of is if either you email me the contents of your SAVE folder and I'll compare it with mine, or post it up and I'll have a look

Files returned with cameras added.
Your 'ao' files showed no content therefore I don't think the cameras were integrated properly
I can see 2 files missing on your setup Thumbs and Unlock but I don't know the relevence of these. Do they show anywhere on the original card?
Rename existing SAVE file, copy the returned ones into a new SAVE folder and restart CoPilot after disconnecting from PC. See what happens. Soft reset may help if not.
Good Luck

Thanks very much Mike, that seems to have done the trick without the need for a soft reset.
The Thumbs file wouldn't copy as it said it was in use but I can't see the unlock file on either of the cards.
Thanks again for all your help on this. |
