At work today the delivery man left 2 sacks of sugar in the back ready to be taken into the kitchens. Now these are not light things, and on my way out I saw one of male kitchen hands struggling to lift one of the sacks, he couldnt drag it as it was made of brown paper and it could have torn on something, the trolly thingy was in use and as he is a bit of a whimp and scared of the head chef he didnt want to wait for it.
I just walked over and picked the sack up in my arms and took it to the kitchen , no effort at all, well it was actually but I wasnt going to admit that to him. So it goes to show that not all ladies are weaklings. |

It not just women wanting to be equal.
I was bought up to have certain manners with women, e.g. holding a door open, women first, giving up your seat, walking on the outside whilst on the pavement and many more, today not only aren't the new generations taught this, but it seems to be look after no1 only - ME.
When i was on a train year's ago i gave up my seat to a women and got a right ear-full, that was the last time i tried that. _________________ TomTom Go 60

I think I enjoy it both ways to be honest (oops that sounded a bit naughty) I seem to get on better with men than I do with women, I am not one for standing around gossiping and talking about the latest makeup and celeb wedding.
I like going to the pub with the lads from work and will match them drink for drink, I play pool and darts with them and generaly am one of the lads. BUT I also enjoy being paid attention to, I like having the door opened for me and a man to give up his seat, although it doesnt happen that much in this day and age most probably for the reasons GJF quoted. A lot of women just dont want that now. For some reason it makes them feel inferior when in reality its a man being polite and good mannered. |

I have a bar of carbolic soap next to me, every time a naughty thought comes in to my head I'll wash my mouth out. |
