Paul,
Thanks will click on it!!!
Any idea why on the PC running IE7 CM is still stuck in 'not logged in .. cannot check fro updates' yet the one running IE6 is saying 'updates ready for installing' ?
still seems to imply a problem with CM using IE7 or some set up in IE7?
Thanks, Bryan |

No idea. I have no problems with XP SP2 and IE 7.
Maybe a Cookie issue - Ash10 might have a better idea. |

I don't seem to be having much luck with latest version of CM. Last version I had working without a problem was v2.0.0.1. I've been away most of June so I've now jumped to v 2.0.0.6 and all I get back is
"The supplied handle is the wrong type for the requested operation"
and I get all the gpx files but at a 1kB size.
Anyone got any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong.
Appreciate any help

Did you delete "PocketGPSWorld Speed Camera Database.zip" from your POI directory, before running the latest version - as recommended?!
If not, quit Camera Manager, delete the zipfile - then run the application again... |

Thanks for responding Ash
Yes I had emptied the POI folder. I've tried many times to run CM in various different ways but can't figure it out.
I had wondered if the introduction of the international databases had anything to do with it, but clearly it's not a general issue so it must be at my end somewhere.
The only other thing I can think is that I've changed my router/modem (with firewall), so may be something to do with that although browsers are working OK. I'll investigate it further.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply - as a possible enhancement, would it be possible to convert the "pmobile" in the red text box to read "unconfirmed mobile" or "pending mobile" does to make it more distinct and easier to see at a glance?
Thanks for the suggestion about splitting the files to display the pmobile and mobile ones with different icons - how do you split a GPX file? |

I think you have mis-understood. The suggestion was only a way to change the wording on the screen from "pMobile" to "unconfirmed mobile" or "pending mobile". Nothing to do with splitting a file.
It was in response to your quesition -

I have exactly the same problem as bobtheboater and I've tried it (the full version as I'm a contributor) on three different computers. Either I get the error message or it creates a zip file of size 1 or 2 kb, which is corrupt. I've had this problem since 2.0.0.4, and it's not due to old zip files, not least because one of the computers has never had the software loaded prior to 2.0.0.6. I'd be grateful for a solution, Ash. |

Paul - Thanks for your help - I've tried to rename the "pmobile" text in the .CSV file but camera manager seems to ignore this as it "appears" to revert to downloading a new zip file.
Ash - Is there an easy way of getting the Pmobile and mobile files to display using different icons? |
