My first off topic question is about Internet communities in general. Does anyone have any insights/evidence/thoughts on the way the web itself is progressing through social networking, blogging and forum sites?
Please discuss (or ignore) and feel free to veer pointlessly off topic |
Blimey, i will have to turn my brain on first to get my head around that.
I am just going to see a customer, so working late, i will make a point of laying in bed tonight to get the thoughts flowing "on the way the web itself is progressing through social networking, blogging and forum sites"
- instead of having sex.
In the meantime, all others feel free to start ahead of me, (as the actress said to the bishop). _________________ TomTom Go 60

Oi. Start your own thread.

Getting off topic a bit 8) but Tim's got a point there. Who's gonna be the first one to start a thread. Are we all too nervous and no one wants to be the first? _________________ Gone fishing! |

Cor Blimey, billion users on internet online
It took 36 years for the Internet to get its first billion users. The second billion will probably be added by 2015; most of these new users will be in Asia. The third billion will be harder, and might not be reached until 2040.
I be too old for that in the year of 2040, anyone's wishing stay online forever
Anyone's wishing to be the to start a off topic thread |

Sorry, Stargate - I didn't get back until this morning and have still not got up to speed with all the topics I was sending off topic, so I didn't find the Off Topic Forum until late tonight. Many people have beaten me to the job already. Also, it's very difficult to think of an Off Topic topic!! _________________ Dennis
