I purchased the BT slipper from the US but it only came with a car charger! Anyone have any ideas where I can get the AC charger on its own? |

Hi,
Bought in the UK they only come with a car charger as well. Maplin or anybody like that will do a 240v mains to car socket adaptor for allmost nothing! I made my own from an old calculator adaptor and a car socket for 99p. Its much less weight to cart about, to use this and car chargers for everything, than to take bespoke 240v chargers for all your bits!

I got mine from peripheral corner. I didn't come with a charger either. I rang up and they said that there had been a problem with UK chargers and none had come with them, but he also said that he was expecting a delivery in a couple of days. They sent it on free of charge.
Word of warning: If you do get one, they come with a plastic screw to hold different country adapters on. DO NOT USE THE SCREWDRIVER THAT COMES WITH IT, it will have screw socket demolished in seconds. Raid your toolbox for a better fit. You don't actually need to put the screw back in again as it clips in more than securely.

The other option is to buy one of these.
It's a 3-pin UK mains plug that has a cigarette/accessory socket in it allowing you to plug a car charger in and use it in the house.
