Has the PGPSW server crashed?
Dates for articles on the home page are showing as February 2007 and a lot of the forum dates are showing incorrectly.
Or have I missed something and we've been transported back to February so that we avoid the embarrassment of the 2012 Olympic logo in the future? _________________ Andy

That's because some members don't set the time right in their profile!
As as today's date Timezone should be GMT + 1Hour in UK.
Also don't forget members outside UK are in different time zones.
I can't see February in the recent posts only today's date. _________________ TomTom Go 60

It's all ok now....but for a while, the home page and many postings showed the latest date as February
For example, one of the articles on the home page was a cigarette lighter doubler (dated 21 February, I think) and the home page was giving detais of the January 2007 competition.
If nobody else noticed it, then I'll look stupid - but at least everything has been working OK again for a few hours and that's the main thing _________________ Andy

Who is your ISP? Could be a web caching issue at their end, Inktomi's were good at doing what you describe and NTL use them??? _________________ Darren Griffin |

ISP - NTL (Virgin Media) at home, BT at work
....but it's not web caching because it went from being up to date to some date back in February
I'm fairly computer savvy and know that a quirk like this wasn't web caching.
I thought, though, that it could have been a server crash and for some reason gone to an older backup copy of the web site.
Anyway, it's working OK now _________________ Andy

Well it definitely wasn't our end and Inktomi caches can have such a problem. _________________ Darren Griffin |
