Raise the congestion charge to £50 per vehicle, and if you don't like it stay out, simple really, nobody forces you to enter the zone. _________________ Tomtom Go730T

The Manchester congestion charge will be different and 'intelligent'.
It will only apply at peak periods and if you're travelling with the flow of traffic - ie if you're driving out of the city in the morning you won't be charged.
My brother lives and works and that area and he's in favour of the scheme, which isn't just a flat rate charge for crossing a line.
Personally, I already pay more on petrol each month for getting to/from work than my mortgage - some say I'm lucky to have a low mortgage, others say I should find a job closer to home _________________ Andy
