TomTom 910 electronic/computer voices

Just bought a new TomTom 910 yesterday and it locked up before I could even make a backup.
So, copied the HD to the pc and reformatted the HD on the 910.
Copied the files back on to the 910 and everything is fine apart from no electronic/computer voices. Anybody out there know how to get them back please? I need them for some of the 910's functions.

If you bought it yesterday, take it/send it back.
You really shouldn't be doing something as drastic as a reformat on something less than 24 hours old.
Did you try a simple reset using the pin-hole on the bottom, before you did anything else?

The text to speech voices are copyrighted by Loquendo, so aren't easily available - TomTom won't let you download them; but they may still be there on your PC.
Examine your backup, particularly the Loquendo folder and report back what you see.

If memory serves, was'nt the 910 supposed to be able to read books in txt format?
