i think i already know the answer, but does the new updated maps, that my ate downloaded for his TTGO work on my TT1

If not, does anyone know where i can DL the latest maps/cams etc

You can purchase your own download from TomTom's website.
They probably would be the same maps but they won't work without an activation key.
