To expand on my previous post(it was quite late)
I have MM2004 with Landranger area 6 and A-Z London & central London all with MMI files. If I can get A-Z MMI search to work then area 6 is not recognised and if I get area 6 regognised then the A-Z is not seen is there any way I can get all 3 MMI files to be recognised on my PDA?

Hi,
After MM v5.0.6 there is (or can be) a .mmi file attached to each map (same filename with .mmi extension, in the same folder as the map). Before that, you could only have a single .mmi file in the same folder as the MM .exe file.
The MM 2004 OS maps won't work in v5, but the A-Z might. You can install both MM 2004 and v5 (and the European Edition!) on the same PC and PDA, so that might be a solution.
Alternatively, the best that I can suggest is to keep the individual .mmi files in different folders and copy the appropriate one into the program's folder as required.

That would be the only way to do this with MM2004 as far as I am aware. The MM2004 and MMV5 workaround works very well tho
Cheers, Alan.
