backing up a nuvi

just bought a nuvi 360 t and i was wondering if i should back it up to my computer before upgrading software , firmware etc?

if i should how do i do this?

YES.

Just connect the nuvi to your PC.

You will need to make sure your Explorer is set to show hidden files - there is one on the nuvi which is important to back up.

Create a suitable directory on your PC.

Copy and Paste all files on nuvi to this. Takes a few mins - but well worth the piece of mind.

Do it before each upgrade would be my tip.

Then burn it onto a CD, so you have a perminant copy, incase your computer throws a wobblie, and you loose everything.
