Hi - Just downloaded the "English Heritage" POI files (OV2 and BMP), dragged them into the map folder on my TT 910 as usual, but they're not showing up in my list of POIs? Just tried adding 'Comet' locations to double-check I'm following the right process and this worked fine. Could the "English Heritage" DB be corrupt?? Any advice appreciated! |

have you got a program called POIEdit?
If so try opening it with that. If it does, then you know the file's OK. _________________ Richard

Hi Oldboy - No, I don't have POIedit - can I download it from this site? I'm using a Mac, if that complicates things?! |

You can get it from http://www.poiedit.com/ but I don't know if it works on a Mac.
Some have had difficulty with zip files and a Mac. If you use Stuffit, I believe you have to drop the zip file on to it, rather than open it in the normal way. Perhaps a Mac user will confirm, or put me right. _________________ Richard

Richard - you were right; Although double-clicking the zip file to unpack it did not appear to error, dragging the file on to the application icon has done the trick. Thanks! |
