Just a quick few words of appreciation to all the team who managed to get me logged back in again after a couple of months of absence...no idea why original login failed, but all is now well. Thanks again, guys.
Off topic, but while I'm here, a copy'n'paste of the database is much, much quicker and easier using a card reader rather than struggling with the idiosyncracies of ActiveSync - wish I'd discovered that earlier!
Best wishes to you all

OK maybe now got it sorted :D
Can log in fine (apparently) if I take ZoneAlarm down, then reinstate it when logged in. Maybe then a configuration issue with ZA - anyone got any hints?
Cheers

In the Firewall you should be able to set PGPSW as a Trusted Site. You are probably using ZA Pro! _________________ Richard

I never used to have any problem with Zone Alarm - you can tell it to allow access to any site you like (I'm not running it any longer, so I'm sorry I can't run through it). _________________ Dennis

'Fraid not. ZA Pro sounds like an application outside of my technical capabilities
It is nonetheless curious that I don't have this issue with other sites that require userID/password - just this one. Goes to show just how special you are!
Anyway, I seem to have snuck in this a.m. without arousing ZA's attention - let's hope it stay that way.
