Connected fine and did the necessary without any problems.
Have you tried again since, in case it was a temporary 'glitch' somewhere along the line? |

Yeah, 3 days running - even the base speedcam update isn't showing as an available update (I didn't synch after the German and Austrian speedcams were removed so it should be there).
There's a 90 second or so delay when I try to search for updates and then a message telling me (in poor English) that no update is available. Firewall and all that is okay.
Btw, I approached a local car radio dealer about the prospect of him adding a splitter to my FM feed for TMC reception - he said it should be no problem at all to install (quoted me £80 which is a bit more than I can be prepared to pay to be honest what with map updated and all that). I may give it a whirl though because between Guildford, Farnborough and Slough I can get very little in the way of Classic FM TMC reception at present. Bracknell seems to be a good spot for shoe string reception though. Odd. |

Hi,
I'm a Mio C710 owner. In the past few days I can't update the device either.
When using the MioMap updater tool it comes back with no updates available. I know for fact that it needs to be updated.
In the mio-tech site they have posted the following message:
Mio C220, C320, C520 & C520t UPDATE
Mio updater tool currently not available
Due to technical problems, the Mio updater tool is currently not available. You can download and install the software, but when you use the updater tool the update itself can not be downloaded.
We are working hard to solve the problem as soon as possible. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.
However it doesn't mention the C710 device.
I winder why some can update and some can't? |
