I'm moving over to a PocketPC / TTNav2 solution from the Garmin emap.
This solution is so far head and shoulders above the emap, but there are a few features I wish I still had. Perhaps I just haven't found them yet. Can anyone help:
- Laying tracks - useful for hiking and keeping a record of where you've been
- Trip computer - keeps track of average speed, moving speed, total distance covered, etc.
Is there anyway to do this?
Thanks,
Nick |

Although not an add-on to TomTom Navigator, there are nav programs that will do the tasks you list. I use GPS Tuner:
http://www.gpstuner.com/
It will record tracks, and has a trip computer that keeps track of the items you list and many more. They have a trial version that can be downloaded. |

Have you seen similar software for Pocket PC? Plugins on www.webazar.org/tomtom/ are for "Linux Tomtom devices" |
