Just wondering if anybody knows the format of this file and if anybody has produced a converter to get elevation data from geotiff format into memory map qed format. Somebody must know by know???

Hi Phil,
But MM also allows you to scan and import your own maps . Unfortunately the format of the .QCT and .QED files is proprietary, so I don't think the format has been disclosed.
There is a .QED file for the whole of Europe available for free download on the MM website, but the detail is only suitable for smaller scale maps.
