I recently had to reinstall checkpoint etc after allowing my iPAQ battery to run down completely. I've downloaded the database and copied the ov2 and bmp files over to the GB Navigator Map folder on the iPAQ. I'm not getting the audible alerts for the cameras or the proximity bar which used to appear down the right side of the screen. It all worked fine before!! I seem to be going round and round in circles and can't see what's wrong.
The installation instructions for TT Navigator 3 appear to relate to N5 & N6, there should be lots of other pages but it's telling me there's nothing available for my search criteria, even though all I'm trying to do is access "next page".
Any idea what I've missed? Compaq iPAQ 3950, TT Nav 3, Checkpoint 3.2 & PocketPC 2002 Premium.
Thanks in anticipation. _________________ Compaq iPAQ 3950, TT3 PocketPC 2002 |

Crikey Navigator v3! It's been a long time since I used that version but do you get the CheckPOInt icon when you launch it and can you access the configuration? _________________ Darren Griffin |

hi Darren,
Still on Navigator 3 as my iPAQ wasnt listed as compatible with v5 and not prepared to fork out for another PDA which could then easily also be rendered obsolete by a new version!
By accident I just found all the individual cameras in the overlay settings menu, can't think why I didn't suss that before, but now I think I need some wav files for the warnings and I'm having trouble finding those. I don't have time to search just now but will check later this evening, if you have any tips re their location I'd be very grateful. I don't think I've downloaded any by the way, if thats what I need to do. _________________ Compaq iPAQ 3950, TT3 PocketPC 2002 |

I can help with that one, I have a zip file of sounds suitable for CheckPOInt on my personal website download page, see the Sound Pack for CheckPOInt link on my site below.

Brilliant, thanks Darren. I'll download tomorrow as my sync cable is at the office, will let you know in due course whether I get it sorted or not. One more silly question - once I've downloaded & unzipped the sound files, do I save them to the same folder as the ov2 & bmp files?
Thanks for your help so far, much appreciated. _________________ Compaq iPAQ 3950, TT3 PocketPC 2002 |

You can save them to any folder on your PocketPC, I create a Sounds folder in My Documents on the memory card for that purpose. Then in CheckPOInt config point it to that folder when assigning the sounds. _________________ Darren Griffin |
