I am not sure if anyone else has noticed but while on my journey around the uk which i seem to do on a daily basis. I noticed that there are a hell of a load of speed cameras located in gardens, on top of houses and disguised as speed signs. Are people just submitting false reports of fixed cameras for a life time membership?
Is there a way to get rid of these as they always reappear in the new speed cam definitions and i am getting sick of removing them. |

What device are you using? - I drive quite a distance per year and don't come accross too many "off road" cameras, most are tagged to the side of the road they are physically associated with - which database are you using on your device, single, consolodated or speed zoned? - Mike |

Watch out for the cameras disguised as pink pigs hovering over motorways. They will always get you...

There are different standards of software:-
GATSO:2088@30 in the Database is:-
Garmin--- N51.63170 W3.96255
18 feet from the single line representing the road!
Google--- 51.63169064716772 -3.96256685256958
Clearly on the left of the Road
Therefore it is the differences in software [Google/Garmin/TomTom etc.] and the [in] accuracy of the different units recording [my Garmin varies between 7 feet and 20 feet], and the level of care used by the submitter[whether he/she was stationary or moving at 70mph] that account for the points you mentioned.
MaFt and the database only reflect what data is sumitted [although he did think it was Feb 2006!!!!!!!! :D :D
A13x give us one example so we can all check it against the many types of software we use, and we can post the results!
My results would reflect Garmin software. |
