Nuvi 310 bluetooth Problem

Hi all
My other halfs got a this sat nav but when I call her on the telephone to her sat nav she can hear me clear as day but all I get is static and can't hear her Laughing

i mean

any help or would you recommend I send it back to garmin for repair Question

I wonder if there is a problem with either the microphone, or else it thinks there is an external microphone plugged in.

Try with the Nuvi not plugged into anything - ie holding it in your hand, and see if the handsfree works fine. This will be the first stage in pinning down the problem.
