Sorry admin if this is in the wrong place.
The new handset comes packaged with CoPilot Live 6.
Question is do I use this application or can I transfer / copy my tomtom navigator 5 from my current pda memory card. ( i have no cd with the software on but have the activation code)
A how to guide would be useful as there are so many conflicting views on the copilot software. |

You can copy the TomTom memory card to the PC then back to another memory card of the correct type for your new toy (TransFlash), have a read through THIS for instructions on card copy.
With a bit of messing around you could even get both Co-Pilot AND TomTom on the same card working - just watch the folder names.
If you want TomTom on the new unit it will work, select GPS set-up as Other NMEA GPS Device, Baud 9600 and Com port 4 - Mike |

I don't seem to have any settings in the TomTom program in GPS config to select COM 4. and in the phone GPS config there is 2 places to pick a COM port.
Can you help ?
TomTom 6 also on the Orbit.
Thanks
The TT starts and runs OK but it wont select any GPS device. _________________ RAT RODZ UK |

All sorted now I had changed the port settings on the phone somehow by mistake.
Set to COM 4 and NONE now and all is well _________________ RAT RODZ UK |
