For those of you, like me, who have downloaded Poi's from this site. And don't like the double icons, i.e. On petrol stations for example, you get the excellent PocketGPS BP or Shell etc icon and also the generic TomTom icon of a black and white petrol pump. I got round this by deleting the "poi.dat" file from my map folder (or rather by saving it in a safe place on my computer). Now all I have are the Poi's that matter to me, and no others. If anyone knows of a reason why this is a bad thing to do, please let me know here, |

Why not just Disable the POIs you don't want. _________________ Richard

I have found that deleting the poi.dat I can get more of my own downloaded poi's to show. Not sure if this is my imagination, but that's how it appears to me. |

Poi.dat categories don't count towards the limitation. You would see more of your own POIs on the screen at any one time, that's all. _________________ Richard
