I got the AIRIS T920 without maps for xmas.
Pixmania say that it will run the route66 navigate 7 software and in fact they sell the airis T920 preinstalled with route66.
On the route66 website the airis t920 is not listed as a supported device.
The airis has a samsung S3c2440 processor which runs the ARMv4 instruction set. I had a quick look at some of the supported devices and they all have an intel XScale processor running the ARMv5TE instruction set!!
So my question is, will the Airis T920 run route66 PPC software ? |

3a/ If you are presented with a long road, plan the route as normal, then select Zoom to/ Destination. Your destination target is a small white plus symbol with a red centre, you can move this around and blocks of house numbers will appear on the map, try and judge where is best then press the "Arrow" pointing at the red circles icon (lower bar third icon from left) answer "Yes" to start new navigation.

Mike, I have just purchased Route 66 for my PPC and it does allow navigating to a street address including number. If I type dart mea 2, then I see street numbers against roads in the list.
Sorry if this is because I have a newer version (7.0.2091), but others may not think numbers are catered for after browsing the forum - I didn't include the number for my first few searches are reading this group
