After meddling up a bit more ....here is some bit more ..Its just not the postcode application... it some times gives me an error " no Language dll found try re installing TTN" Some times the moment I click navigate to .. it hangs right there .... and application shuts down or gets stuck there ..I have to then reset n some times after a couple of resets ..it would start working absolutely fine ... as if nothing had happened ...even the post code utility works fine ....but this intermittant behaviour is very baffling SO NOW .... wud say it is just not the post code utility ... its the tom tom navigator IT self which doesnt behave itself.....

I dont know if it would help but on my pocket PC I still see some TTN files in \my device\windows which are :

Tom Tom Navigator.lnk
Tom Tom Navigator.unload
ttgpseng.exe
TTNcontrol.ocx
Palm BV TTNControl.unlc

Please help

to minimize further the use of main memory, i found this tip from the internet but i can't find it again. anyway check the values under hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\shell folders. i changed mine from \windows\profiles.... to \cf card\profiles.... you'll have to empty the history and temporary files, copy the contents of \windows\profiles... to
\cf card\profiles... before changing the values. and make sure you have a good backup before changing any registry.

Can the same registry changes be applied to Wm2005 and TomTom v5.21

The registry keys no longer exist as they did in WM2003.

Any suggestions on whether the same changes can be made as I am attempting to move voice files to a SD card. Question

After installation of 5.21 you can move the complete Navigator folder to the storage card. Don't forget to update the shortcut in \Windows\Start Menu too.
